Welcome
We offer a special welcome to those who go to church each week, haven’t been since their last school carol service or have never set foot in the building before

We extend an equally warm welcome to people who are single, married, separated, divorced, straight or LGBTQI+

We welcome you whether you are looking for some alone time or seeking some companionship

We welcome you rich, poor or somewhere in between, fresh out of prison or living in one of those fancy houses nearby

We welcome you whether you can belt out all the hymns by heart or just want to sit quietly at the back

We welcome those whose bodies don’t work as they want them to, those who are battling with illness and those who ran 10k before they rocked up to church

We welcome crying babies, tantruming toddlers, exhausted mums, frazzled dads, worn out carers, stroppy teenagers and adoring grandparents

We welcome square pegs in round holes, those who don’t feel understood, those who don’t fit in, and those who were last to be chosen for the team

We welcome you if you are having a bad day, feeling low at the moment, or at the end of your tether

We welcome those who are grieving and those who are celebrating

We welcome you if you are not a huge fan of religion, wondering what you believe or whether you believe at all

We don’t mind if you knit, fidget or pop to the loo halfway through a service. We welcome people of any age, with any need and we support and welcome all children and adults who find it hard to be still or quiet

We want to break down the barriers you may feel at church. We are on a journey of faith, seeking to experience God’s love and then to share it and...

we welcome you as you are
