The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

 

At Bethesda we are an inclusive, intergenerational church, and our worshipping life reflects the community we serve. We are a people seeking to deepen our faith, open to God’s word, prepared to encounter the Holy Spirit and to be transformed by the challenge Christ offers.

We aim for the language we use to be inclusive and avoid words that discriminate. We aim to expand the ways in

which God is described. We aim for every person present to leave having been told they are known and loved by God.

 

God loves you, unconditionally, no strings attached.
